Experienced Management Team

Mr. Nash has over 30 years of experience in the trading, terminal, and transportation sectors of the light hydrocarbon industry. He currently serves as an industry consultant to Sinokor LNG. Managed British Gas Group's trading-related LNG transportation and freight activities, and later lead the start-up of Dynagas. Served in an advisory capacity to Sakhalin Energy and to the Angelicoussis-Kanellakis tanker and LNG tanker businesses managed the post-bankruptcy sale of Enron’s LNG and LPG. Began career with Exxon, working in the shipping and terminals division, and later in positions of commercial activity. Mr. Nash holds an MBA from Rice University, where he has also served as an adjunct professor in the energy markets. Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, where he also received his commission in the U.S.N.R. Member of S.N.A.M.E. and elected member of the U.K.’s Nautical Institute.

Jonathan Cook

Jonathan Cook is the Founder, and Chief Executive Officer of Pilot LNG LLC. He established the company in 2019 with the vision of building a team of LNG professionals experienced in the full LNG value chain in order to deliver and meet the unique needs of existing and prospective LNG customers. Jon was a co-founder of Excelerate Energy in 2003 and served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Jon managed the development of Excelerate's portfolio of floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) projects, expanding the company’s fleet to nine FSRUs and growing EBITDA to roughly $300 million. Jon was subsequently CEO of FLEX LNG Ltd where he brought the company into operation with six LNG carriers and was responsible for raising over $500 million in capital for the acquisition of four newbuild LNG carriers. He also served as the Chief Marketing Officer of TMS Cardiff Gas where he was responsible for the marketing of five LNG carriers.

Shaun Davison

Shaun is the Chief Development Officer of Pilot LNG LLC. Shaun has a proven track record originating successful LNG projects across the value chain, including several FSRU projects while at Excelerate Energy and NextDecade. Those FSRU projects include: Israel, Pakistan, Ireland, UK, Bangladesh and Australia. His LNG project development experience also includes: Cove Point, Brownsville, Texas City, and Port Lavaca. Shaun has over 25 years experience in the energy industry focusing on pipelines, underground storage, LNG terminals and LNG shipping. He also has proven abilities in strategic planning, project management and business development.

Genaro Gomez

Genaro Gomez is the founder and owner of GF INTERNATIONAL. GF was established in 2003 as a natural gas marketing company and since then has diversified into different segments of the energy industry and others.Mr. Gómez has broad experience in the construction industry, commodities space and energy sector and is the founder and owner of multiple companies involved in manufacturing construction materials like plywood and particleboard, trading and marketing of natural gas, refined products and electric power. This portfolio of businesses includes three (3) retail electricity providers in Texas with more than 15 years of continuous energy commodity sales into Mexico. He has twenty (20) years of extensive experience in physical and financial commodity trading ranging from lumber, coffee, oil, propane, butane, natural gas, gold, uranium, diesel, biodiesel, fuel oil and electricity. This also includes thirteen (13) years of successful natural gas trading relations with (Petróleos Mexicanos). Mr. Gómez provided strategic leadership and planning for key logistical and national security initiatives to include integrated security solutions for the country and persistent Situational Awareness capability for Mexico’s Proyecto Frontera Sur.

Axel Reijmers

Axel leads investor relations, capital raising and ongoing communications with current and potential investors at GF International. Mr. Reijmers is a Founding Partner of Grupo Accendo. He conceived the management buyout of RBS Mexico (now Accendo Banco) and worked on every aspect of the transaction, including negotiations with RBS, fundraising, securing regulatory approvals and preparations for the start of operations. Currently Deputy General Director of Accendo Banco in charge of Investment Banking. Former Managing Director Corporate Finance at RBS and ABN AMRO in New York where for seven years he led RBS’ M&A execution efforts in the Americas. Held positions with ABN AMRO in Amsterdam and in Tokyo.

Cheyne Hermes

Cheyne is the Senior Vice President of Finance at Pilot LNG LLC. Cheyne has over a decade of experience in the energy and infrastructure industries. Prior to joining Pilot, Cheyne served in various management positions with BP, NextDecade Corp, Sanchez Energy and Mesquite Energy. He has also held investment banking and special situation roles with Houlihan Lokey and M-III Partners. Cheyne completed a BS in Economics from Texas A&M University.
